RENK’s Propeller Shaft Clutch (PCS) comes in two version for both semiautomatic and fully automatic connection/disconnection of the main engine from the propeller in vessels with 2-stoke engines. It is designed for reliable torque transmission and effective propeller thrust management. Its integrated bearings ensure efficient thrust transmission to the main engine thrust bearing while not needing its own foundation neither when connected nor disconnected. This ensures robust operation and minimal wear.
